Live at the Scala in London 36:19 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from Live at the Scala 1991
I performed live at the Scala Cinema as part of the Temple of Psychic Youth festival. The show was a great time. I had met Genesis P-Orridge at a year prior to the show which was an honor and eventually let to this fun gig. Apparently there was a crazy hardcore visual show going on behind me which is missed because I never turned around.
December 2:03 [mp3]
from I Know Where I’ve Been 2002
A nice quiet piece. Most of my work moves between very loud and aggressive to very quiet and minimal.
Quiet Song 3:06 [mp3]
from I Know Where I’ve Been 2002
An odd piece as it uses drum machine which I don’t think I’ve ever done. Almost every piece I’ve done is pretty much manipulated guitar and bass, sometimes with a bit of sampler thrown in. I like this one though – it’s got that melancholy sappiness that I love.
January Song 3:13 [mp3]
from I Know Where I’ve Been 2002
Another nice little quiet number. I’ve gotten a lot more literal in naming my work.
Tacit 5:30 [mp3]
from I Know Where I’ve Been 2002
Really minimal. I keep meaning to go back and flesh this one out and re-release it.
Form 5:08 [mp3]
from I Know Where I’ve Been 2002
Originally done for a dance piece by David Wick that was performed at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. A lot of my music is made in conjunction with choreographers.
breith 7:08 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from an saolre 1989
This is an old series. This and the following two are part of a trilogy I made. Very quiet.
breatha 4:06 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from an saolre 1989
A bit more aggressive. There is a video for this one but I don’t like it much. This is the piece I performed live on my tour of Czechoslovakia in the late 80’s.
bas 2:56 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from an saolre 1989
The most aggressive. of the trilogy. The video for this piece has won tons of awards and has been shown at dozens of festivals.
Ceili 6:33 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from in a low voice 1988
A very minimal rhythmic piece. At least I didn’t upload the 30 minute extended version.
Dirt Baby 2:56 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from Ibys Compolation 1984-1988
Now for some really early work when I was working a lot more with found sounds and noise.
Akkord 3:49 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from Ibys Compolation 1984-1988
Most of my very early work was really aggressive. I like this one because it isn’t. It’s pretty mellow. A little odd but fun.
Live in Vienna 24:43 [mp3]
recorded as Immolation by Scum and from a documentary on the Transformator festival 1991
I have a several live recordings but I like this one quite a bit. There is also a live video for this.
